Bio

Tim Van de Voorde is professor in remote sensing. In his research, remote sensing techniques, geodata, spatial analysis and models are used to help cities meet the challenges they face posed by rapid urbanisation, land use change, unplanned growth and global environmental change. Emphasis now lies on quantifying urban morphology and its relationship with urban landscape functions and ecosystem services.
